Please be a RESPONSIBLE Recycler !
The Waste Electrical or Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive requires countries to maximise separate collection and environmentally friendly processing of these items.
This applies to old Power Tools, spent batteries and most electrically
powered items. Please dispose of
these items in accordance with the WEEE directive by recycling them at your
local facility. You can find
your local electrical waste recycling
facility at www.recyclenow.com
Also most supermarkets
and shops that sell batteries will have collection bins for used batteries, and
some town halls, libraries or schools may also set up collection points. Most Councils in the UK will handle these items separately as
part their regular domestic rubbish collections.
Alternatively we offer all customers buying new electrical equipment from us, a free
take-back of their old electricals on a like-for-like basis. Old items should
be returned to us within 28 days of purchasing your new item. The cost of
returning the goods has to be borne by the customer.
